Teachers are more likely than others to work a part time job.  States are spending less on education than before and teachers say they have to work part time jobs to pay the bills.  Teacher’s pay is very low when compared with other professionals and the vast majority of teachers use their own money to buy supplies.  Teachers work multiple jobs to make ends meet.
